Miuccia Prada was quoted in the New York Times on September 24 as saying about the spring-summer 2010 collection:
Platforms are dead—at least until next season.
What? In the fall 2009-winter 2010 collection, well over half of the shoes were platforms—sometimes hidden, sometimes not. Big stacked heels, high stilettos and lots of platform soles. See for yourself…
