Over-the-knee and ankle boots for fall/winter

Shoe fashion trends, as reported by MillionLooks.com, seem to be favoring over-the-knee boots and ankle boots.

Over-the-knee boots in soft fabrics are being seen pulled up over the knee or slouched down. Other materials: Leather, suede, drap, silk and lace. Favorite colors: Black, brown, red and grey. These boots can be worn with short dresses, mini skirts, shorts, trousers, skinny jeans or over tights and long socks.

Like last fall/winter, ankle boots are being seen on the runways. Platforms, wedges and Cuban heels are popular. Ankle boots are being seen in various styles, materials and colors but metallic accents, lace-up details and patent leather are trending strongly.

After having browsed what’s on the runways for the fall/winter season, here are my Top 10 Picks for Fall—inspired by the runways.
